How long does it take to get my film?

Most films are ready within 24 hours of completing your order. You'll receive an email with a link to watch and download your film.

How many photos do I need?

You need a minimum of 8 photos, and can include up to 25 depending on your chosen tier. Even 3-5 strong photos can make a powerful film.

What we collect

When you use Reelic, we collect the information you provide directly: your email address, the photos you upload, and the answers you give during the interview process. We also collect basic usage data through Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies or track individuals.

How we use your data

Your photos and interview answers are used solely to create your film. Your email address is used to send you order confirmations and to deliver your completed film. If you sign up for our waitlist, we use your email to notify you about Reelic updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your photos

Your photos are stored securely on Vercel Blob Storage. They are used exclusively to create your film and are not shared with anyone else. We retain your photos for 90 days after your film is delivered, after which they are permanently deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.

AI processing

Reelic uses AI services to power the interview, generate narration, and create video animations. Your photos and story content are sent to these services (Anthropic Claude, ElevenLabs, and fal.ai) solely for the purpose of creating your film. These services process your data according to their own privacy policies and do not retain your content beyond what is needed to fulfill the request.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No cookie banner is needed because no cookies are set.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can request deletion of your account, photos, and any associated data by contacting us. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
